Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) Testing - Students in 3rd - 6th grade will begin testing on Monday, April 6. Here is a link for the complete schedule. Please avoid taking your student out during their testing time. Students that are ill should remain home and will be able to do makeup testing. Students arriving late after testing has started will need to remain in the office until their class is finished testing.
A Day Without Hate - We are excited about our April spirit day A Day Without Hate on April 23. A Day Without Hate is a student-led movement promoting nonviolence, unity, and respect in schools. We believe that every individual deserves a safe and respectful environment, and we strive to create a culture of empathy, understanding, and unity through our student-led efforts. Our student council is planning different activities that will focus on spreading kindness, unity, and empathy! We would like all students to wear white. What started as a single day of unity has grown into a powerful movement, reaching tens of thousands of students across the globe who come together to say they will not tolerate violence or hate, and instead choose to reach out to friends and classmates with the message, "We're all in this together." Learn more on the Day Without Hate website at this link.
Educational Needs Form (2026-2027 school year) - This form is made available for parents/guardians to share information about their student’s educational needs. We do not take teacher requests. Therefore, do not request a teacher on this form. This form is available to be picked up in the office and must be returned by Tuesday, April 21.
Lost & Found - We have an abundance of items in our Lost & Found. Please check these areas by Friday, April 10. All remaining items will then be donated.
2026-2027 School Year - Please contact Shelly Cohen at 720-728-6162, if your student is not returning to JA next school year (unless you already have). This will enable us to accommodate students on our waiting list.
